This year, we’re aiming to raise $40,000 to empower more athletes with disabilities to cross finish lines, defy limits, and inspire others.
Your donation fuels our Vinnie Liguori Athlete & Volunteer Fund, honoring a beloved Achilles handcycle athlete who passed away shortly after completing his first Eversource Hartford Marathon in 2019. His legacy lives on in every mile our team runs.

When you join Team Achilles, you do more than run — you inspire.
Ways to Participate:
- Join us as a Charity Runner and fundraise for swag and race reimbursement
- Grab your co-workers, gym buddies, teammates/classmates, and run club members and join Team Achilles Connecticut! FUN-draise and race together as part of our Team Challenge while supporting a good cause!
Fundraisers receive team support, prizes to the top fundraisers (donated in-kind by our dedicated community partners), and recognition.

Not racing? Be part of the experience by volunteering with us!
We need 30+ volunteers to support:
- Bib pickup at the Expo
- Baggage check at Bushnell Park
- Support the Wheelchair Athlete Zone
- Course monitoring along the marathon route
This is the perfect opportunity for individuals, college groups, and companies to give back and make an impact together.
