Become a Charity Runner for Achilles International and as a Connecticut Chapter member, please request at the time of acceptance for your fundraising to be earmarked for our Chapter.  The funds you raise get transferred to us after the race.  We appreciate the support!

Here in Connecticut, we have been an Official Charity of the Eversource Hartford Marathon since 2014 with an annual fundraising goal of $30,000.  We do ask that our members participating in this event help us fundraise as part of Team Achilles CT.  A percentage of these funds are earmarked for our Chapter’s Vinnie Liguori Memorial Fund, which provides support to athletes and volunteers when cost is a barrier to participation. Information is sent out each July when we activate our fundraising page using HMF’s platform, Haku.

Determine if your employer has a charitable giving program, matching gift, or rewards you for volunteering. If so, please nominate and earmark Achilles Connecticut as the recipient!  We get the funds transferred to us through your employer’s online portal (if one is used) or by check.  This support generates thousands of dollars for our Chapter every year!
