Make your miles count for good and support Achilles Connecticut locally and in some of the world’s biggest marathons as a Charity Entrant. Once accepted, you can earmark your fundraising for our Chapter since you are a member of it! The funds get transferred to us after the race.

Here is another way you can help us right here in Connecticut:
Each October, we are an Official Charity of the Eversource Hartford Marathon. You can JOIN Team Achilles CT to run as yourself and/or guide an athlete in one of the distances (guides will have different registration instructions-please sign up in your Rosterfy account).
When you hit your fundraising minimum, we will reimburse your registration fee which you paid.
– 5K – $500
– Half marathon – $750
– Marathon – $1,000
-For the Eversource Hartford Marathon Relay only (team of 4)– $2,000 ($500 each member)

FUNDRAISING BEST PRACTICES:
Donors make secure, online donations to your fundraising page, or by check on your behalf. Make checks payable to Achilles Connecticut. Our mailing address for check donations is:

Share, share, share!! Your fundraising platform allows you to share on social media with a single click – but sharing via emails sent to friends, family, and colleagues often produce the best results.
Check with your employer about matching gifts…each year we receive a few thousand dollars through matching corporate gifts alone! For volunteers, some companies will also reward you as the employee for giving back to the community as a volunteer for a charity, by making a donation in your honor!
Ask family, friends, and neighbors who own their own businesses. Ask in your local community at places you frequent!
