Sarah joined the Achilles Connecticut team in January 2026 as the Chapter’s Event Manager. She supports race logistics and event operations, helping to ensure that athletes, guides, and volunteers have a seamless and inclusive experience.

Prior to joining Achilles, Sarah spent 15 years at Google, where she managed a wide range of training programs, led a large-scale volunteer facilitator community, and planned summit events for up to 500 participants. She first became involved in community leadership while in college, co-chairing the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at Trinity College, and later fulfilled her Teach For America commitment as a first-grade teacher in New Orleans.

Sarah enjoys reading, traveling, practicing yoga, tap dancing, and hiking with her dog, Louie. Since her diagnosis in 2018, she has been deeply committed to lung cancer advocacy and fundraising. Each year, she organizes Sarah’s Squad to raise funds for the LUNGstrong 5K – an experience that reinforces her belief in the power of community and collective action. She is excited to bring that same spirit to the Achilles community!
