Jane joined Achilles International Connecticut Chapter in April of 2025. She is a marathon runner and long-time advocate for individuals with disabilities. She brings with her many years of event and volunteer management experience working with small nonprofits as well as local chapters of national organizations including the Arthritis Foundation and American Cancer Society.

Jane loves the sense of camaraderie and inclusion that running offers. As a mother to a child with physical and intellectual disabilities she sees every day how inclusion, accessibility and social encouragement can lift the mind and spirit of individuals empowering them to keep trying and achieving.

Through Achilles, she hopes to spread the word that if you set goals and push the boundaries others might see for you, that anything is possible as long as you keep moving forward.

Jane lives in Guilford, Connecticut with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She is excited to combine her passion and experience in supporting the Achilles’ mission as the Event Manager, Connecticut chapter.
