At a very young age Adam experienced knee problems. When he was 14 his doctors told him playing sports would not be an option. Jogging would never occur. After 8 operations and 31 years Adam joined Achilles International CT Chapter. On June 21, 2014 Adam and his son took part in their first ever 5K. With the help of Achilles International CT Chapter, and Fleet Feet of West Hartford, Adam will be taking part in two more 5K events in July and August of this year. According to Adam “the most inspirational, spiritual, emotional, and physically uplifting experience was crossing the finish line knowing both my knees have been replaced and revised.”
